The team are still busy cleaning off the mud from their boots from last week’s events, Dalby’s own Big Skies and the Narooma Oyster Festival!
With the Big Skies Festival only in its second year, we are very proud to play a part in the AV production of such a successful event for the Western Downs Community. Luckily the weather held out just long enough for fantastic performances from Aussie Music Legends Jon Stevens, Ross Wilson, Pseudo Echo, Ripcord and Deni Hines (to name a few!). Guests also enjoyed a real camp oven experience, regional tours, including exclusive access to the historical Jimbour House.
We worked closely with Aisle 6 by supplementing their PA with our Adamson S7 and, from the crowd’s feedback, we’re pretty sure they were impressed! Check out some of the great photos on our Facebook page shot by the very talented 15 year old Taya Mitchell.
And as for the Narooma Oyster Festival… well what can we say?! Another fantastic community event which attracts thousands of visitors each year, the multi award winning festival celebrates the South Coast NSW oysters and the region’s outstanding produce, chef and live music. Located at the Wagonga Inlet in Forster’s Bay, guests enjoyed a shucking competition (well of course), oyster tastings, a long table dinner, cooking demos and great music from bands such as 19Twenty, Beautifully Mad and James Bennett to name a few.
Congratulations to all the event organisers, suppliers and volunteers for creating such fantastic regional events and a huge thank you to the festival goers for coming back again, we are already looking forward to next years line up!
If opera is more your scene, we will be back in Dalby for the Opera at Jimbour on Saturday 27th July, performed by Opera Queensland, tickets on sale now! Click here to book.
